The Lake Temple ARC meets the 4th Saturday of each month, requests should be provided to the ARC Chairperson by the 3rd Saturday of the month.

ARC Request Form Information:

Master and Lake Temple ARC applications can be found on the Lake Temple HOA Website at https://laketemplehoa.com; two copies of the application are requested as well as a sample, swatch OR brochure for pavers, paint and roofs. Not all requests require Master ARC approval. However, a number of home improvements require both approval from the Lake Temple ARC and the Citrus Springs Master ARC. Once applications are approved by the Lake Temple ARC they are submitted to the Master ARC for review and final approval. The Master ARC meets the first Monday of the month, you will be notified by email within a couple days of their meeting. No work can be done until you receive final approval from the Master ARC.

No solid or poly roofs over extended lanai, screens only. Pavers are not allowed to replace cement walkways.
Landscape shrubbery shall be installed to hide or lessen the view of pool equipment, rubbish barrels, generators, air conditioners, water treatment systems, etc.

Florida glass or kick plates around screened lanais are not allowed, neither front or back. (Florida glass that is currently in place is grandfathered.)

All house trim and garage door must be painted white.

Lake Temple does not allow fencing of any type. Fencing that is currently in place is grandfathered for the present owner only.

Projects that will need ARC approval:

All paver projects need Lake Temple and Master ARC approval. Pavers lining driveways are limited to 28” in width, cannot go beyond the sidewalk or extend past the garage. A sample or brochure with the requested color and pattern must be submitted with application.

All house painting projects require an application submitted to the Lake Temple ARC committee with a swatch of the color for both house and door. Changes to the house and/or door color require a paint sample of each on a white board placed near the front door of house. Please reference Application for Exterior Painting.

Landscape projects that extend past the current bedding, needs to have landscape project design completed and request submitted for ARC approval. All new landscaping projects in the back of the residence must have LT ARC approval and be submitted to the Master ARC for final approval.

Roofs must be shingled and must match or be similar to existing community colors. When submitting ARC application request, a sample of shingle or color brochure with color choice must accompany the application – contractor information is not necessary. All new roofs must have Lake Temple ARC approval and be submitted to the Master ARC for final approval.

Placement of accordion shutters must have LT ARC approval and be submitted to the Master ARC for final approval.

Replacing windows or just window glass needs LT ARC approval and be submitted to the Master ARC for final approval.

Replacement of sliding glass doors needs LT ARC approval and be submitted to the Master ARC for final approval.

Solar / Attic fans are to be located on the rear of the house and need LT ARC approval and be submitted to the Master ARD for final approval.

All driveway and aprons painted must be ARC approved and the paint must be the Lake Temple white concrete paint listed at Sherwin Williams, the formula can be found on the Lake Temple HOA website under Documents/Miscellaneous. Sherman Williams on 43rd Ave also has a copy of the formula.

Projects not needing ARC approval:

Placement of hose reels.

Placement of Ring doorbells or motion detectors.

Summary:

This list is meant to be a guideline for projects to go with the Citrus Springs Master ARC rules booklet. ARC approval is not limited to this list. If you have any questions you may contact the Lake Temple ARC Chairperson for further information.

Please Note: Any architectural work to be done to the exterior of your home, must be approved by Lake Temple ARC and many items also require Citrus Springs Master ARC approval.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines and / or proceeding without proper ARC approval may result in a fine to the homeowner.
